Frank Sinatra – A Jolly Christmas From Frank Sinatra

I have zero complaints about this album. It’s everything I would want in a holiday album from Sinatra: almost entirely classic songs, 50’s-style chorus backing him up, and an actual orchestra accompanying the whole thing. Originally released in 1957 and remastered in 1999, it is a perfect Christmas soundtrack, in my humble opinion. Cozy fire, hot beverage, and Christmas lights not included.

It’s extremely difficult for me to pick a favorite song, simply because they are all a) similar in sound and style, and b) fantastic. For the sake of branching out, I give you “Mistletoe and Holly,” the only song on the album that’s new to me.

Not much more needs to be said, other than that if it were possible to wear out digital albums, I would wear this one out completely. Easy listening indeed.
